As I was getting into my car, ready to leave home and return to Berkeley, my mom told me to be careful as she does every time when I'm about to make that long trip north. But this time, she also mentioned the dream that my dad had the night before. According to my mom, my dad dreamt that I died in a car accident. I don't know about you, but that pretty much freaked me out... I thought about it and I don't think it was the wisest thing to tell someone about a dream concerning a car accident BEFORE the actual car ride. (Heh... My mom's so silly...) Pretty much the whole drive up, I had this lingering fear and I thought about death here and there...and I thought how ridiculous it was for my mom to tell me about that dream before I'm driving for a lengthy six hours at dangerous speeds of 80 m.p.h. and above. Can you say "self-fulfilling prophecy?"

Luckily for all of you, I'm safe and sound.
